great news !!! Sonic Ritual has just confirmed Toires (France/Morocco) and Gordon Field (Interchill) for Dj sets with singer Irina Mikhailova from San Francisco, performing on October 23rd 2003 as part of the MEG (Montreal Electronic Groove) Festival this year ~ yeahy !!!
Headlining the bill will be Dj Cheb-I-Sabbah along with a Freeworm live set, and Ross Allen. More info on Toires can be found on the official Toires website, or on Dakini Records - Japan.
The event will be taking place at :
the new S.A.T. - 1195 Boul. St-Laurent.

A marketing campaign across Canada is underway for (Audiogram Records/F Communications) artist Llorca's debut album New Comer.
Llorca will be in town with his full Parisian ensemble including vocalist Lady Bird for the MEG Festival on the 24th October 2001.

A world-wide marketing campaign is in the works for Freeworm's latest full-length release Vegetation = Fuel on Hydrophonik Records / Outside Music. A vynil 12" is also available for Djs. Please send in your reviews, charts and / or comments. An overwhelming response across Canada has encouraged a new album in the works !

wow folks * it's been a while ~ updates have been scarce in this section due to a lack of time so lots of catching up...
Sonic Ritual has been on hold for quite some time due to an overwhelming workload with responsibilities between both L'Équipe Spectra, Metropolis, and Interchill Records. Needless to say, the representation of artists as an agency also took an inevitable back seat. Risa Roumeliotakis left Metropolis in October 2000 to concentrate more on the marketing efforts of Interchill Records (dayshift). Interchill's headquarters will be relocating to Saltspring Island, B.C. in March 2001. Photos from the record launches since the Legion of Green Men gig will be posted soon including Sky Dancing @ Tokyo and Suns of Arqa @ Lion D'Or.

Due to conflicting schedules and circumstances beyond control, Sonic Ritual has officially ceased it's representation of Dj Maüs (now represented by Haute Couture Records) and VFX Verderosa NYC. I'll miss you guys... xxx ...

It's official ! As of August 1999, in addition to Sonic Ritual's regular functions and responsibilities to L'Équipe Spectra, METROPOLIS, and freelance artist booking, Risa Roumeliotakis will now be joining Interchill Records as Marketing Director / Special Events Coordinator / Publicist.

Due to temporary circumstances, Sonic Ritual will be representing Dj Maüs for special projects and events only as her non-exclusive agent.

The following is to inform all colleagues and friends that as of the 4th March 1999, Risa Roumeliotakis, former Production Mngr of Foufounes Électriques has been appointed Venue Manager of METROPOLIS (capacity 2200), as head of operations. Sonic Ritual will continue to represent Verderosa NYC in (Canada & select US cities), as well as Dj Maüs worldwide, as their exclusive agent. In addition, Sonic Ritual will be producing occasional, annual, and/or bi-annual special events in collaboration with L'Équipe Spectra.
